Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using bluecliff ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and bluecliff.

2. Description of Service

bluecliff is an AI-powered personal assistant service that enables users to manage tasks, calendar, email, and other daily activities through conversational interfaces. The Service includes:

  • Assistant setup and management tools
  • AI-powered task and calendar management
  • Integration with third-party services (email, calendar, etc.)
  • Conversational interface via messaging platforms

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must:

  • Be at least 16 years of age
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users or third parties
  • Distribute illegal, defamatory, or obscene content
  • Attempt to circumvent security measures or rate limits
  • Use automated systems to abuse the Service
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Collect personal data of others without authorization

Violation of this policy may result in immediate account termination without refund.

5. Subscription and Payment

5.1 Plans and Pricing

bluecliff offers subscription plans. Current pricing is available on our pricing page. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

5.2 Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Payments are processed securely through our payment provider.

5.3 Refunds

Refunds may be requested within 14 days of initial purchase for annual plans. Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable. Contact support for refund requests.

5.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds for unused time.

6. AI-Generated Content

6.1 Nature of AI Content

Assistant responses are generated by artificial intelligence. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, errors, or outdated information. You acknowledge that AI technology is imperfect and evolving.

6.2 Review Responsibility

You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated responses before taking action based on them, especially for important decisions.

6.3 No Guarantees

We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, current, suitable for any particular purpose, or free from errors or harmful content.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Property

The Service, including its design, features, and technology, is owned by bluecliff and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer any part of the Service.

7.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of the data and configurations you provide. By using the Service, you grant us a license to process this content to provide the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind
  • We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months
  • We are not responsible for any loss of data, business interruption, or reputational harm

9. Service Modifications and Availability

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time
  • Update features, pricing, or terms with reasonable notice
  • Perform maintenance that may temporarily affect availability
  • Limit access from certain regions or users

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

10. Termination

10.1 By You

You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy.

10.2 By Us

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms or engage in conduct we deem harmful to the Service or other users.

10.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive will survive termination.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. For EU users, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through a notice on the Service at least 30 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
